Low turnover means stagnation for young workers

About 2.3 million workers voluntarily quit their jobs in July, compared with the roughly 3 million workers per month who quit their jobs before the recession, according to an analysis of Labor Department data by The Wall Street Journal. The lack of churn means fewer jobs opening for the unemployed and not as many new opportunities for young workers, experts say.
