CFTC faces funding shortage, delays cases

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is facing a funding shortage that has caused the agency to refrain from launching new cases and to delay others. David Meister, who left his job as the CFTC's enforcement chief this week, said the agency has a "limited staff and limited resources."
