Don't worry too much about getting keywords into your resume -- applicant tracking systems can vary and you still need to make your resume appealing to humans, Jacqui Barrett-Poindexter writes. "Before submitting yours online or to one of your networking contacts, read it aloud. Does it sing? Or, does it fall flat? Print it off and look at it from a consumer's perspective. Does it advertise your value in a brilliant, enticing way?" she asks.
