Honda's 2-stage snowblower brings muscle to snow removal

The two-stage, HS724WA model snowblower from Honda can help clear a thick layer of snow with its front and reverse gear, according to Consumer Reports. The machine has a hydrostatic transmission that eliminates shifts and jerks when changing speeds, and has a foot-operated switch that can be used to move the equipment around without having to start its engine. Snowblowers from Ariens, Toro, Cub Cadet and Craftsman are among the magazine's recommendations.
