Google's newspaper ad program to move beyond pilot stage

Google, declaring its two-month-old pilot program to help newspapers move excess ad inventory a success, plans to expand beyond the original 100 advertisers and 66 newspapers. However, newspaper analysts and executives aren't sure how much the program will help a newspaper's bottom line, although they say it has brought in new ad clients.
