The news that Keurig Green Mountain will be acquiring Dr Pepper Snapple Group topped the list of most-read food and beverage stories this week. Once the deal is finalized, the acquisition will result in a united global beverage business with approximately $11 billion in annual revenue. Other CPG stories that hit home with readers included the new digital marketing strategy at Clorox and McIlhenny Co.’s plan to preserve the Avery Island, La., home of Tabasco.
