Here in late December, we humans often reflect on the past year and plan for the coming year. We make resolutions to improve: to lose weight, to save more money, to improve relationships, to learn a new skill, and more.

Yet our resolutions are often forgotten in the hectic pace of maintaining our existing lives. Our intentions are pure, but good intentions that are not acted upon don’t help us evolve.

One of the biggest challenges in 2018 is for leaders– of small businesses, multi-nationals, and every size and type of business in between around the globe — to improve the health of their work culture.

A better way of putting that is that 2018 is your opportunity to create and celebrate a purposeful, positive, productive work culture in your organization.

In today’s three-minute Culture Leadership Charge video episode created exclusively for SmartBrief readers, I describe how to shift your mindset to pay attention to — and measure, monitor, and reward — two vital elements of healthy work cultures. Don’t leave the quality of your work culture to chance. With intention and attention — and the tips I offer in today’s video clip — you’ll be on your way to a healthy, vibrant, creative work culture.
