The news that Bush’s and Bob’s Red Mill will be entering new product categories in the near future topped the list of most-read food and beverage stories this week. While Bob’s Red Mill is rolling out an oat bar line, Bush’s is debuting a snack portfolio featuring roasted chickpeas, bean chips and bean dip. Other CPG stories that hit home with readers included news of Coca-Cola’s new Bar None drink line and the new skillet kits from Hershey and Reese’s.

Grocery retail readers were drawn to the news that consumers ranked Trader Joe’s at the top of a shopper preference survey of grocers, with Costco, Amazon, H.E. Butt and Wegmans also ranking in the top five. Also hot among grocery readers were stories from Ahold Delhaize and Whole Foods.

Restaurant readers were interested in a story how foods and drinks infused with cannabidiol will be among this year’s top menu trends. Also ranking high was the news that P.F.
