Capitol Hill can be a daunting place, even for the people who work there. Sometimes, the key to getting something done is figuring out which minor staffer is in charge of your issue, so knowing who’s who can be vital information. A new social network, 3121, aims to make that task a little easier for Hill denizens. The site is produced by the National Journal Group and takes its name from the Hill’s phone extension. It will combine aspects of several existing social networks into a single package of personal and professional info. Sadly, it will only be open to congressional staffers working in Washington.
